Easter Day Trip

Easter is coming right around the corner, and we got great Easter day trips coming to Orange County, California! Come with your friends to these top four Easter Orange County day trips and have a blast with all the fun that Orange County provides!

1 – Anaheim

Our top destination that we recommend going to celebrate Easter in is Anaheim. An underrated city in California, Anaheim is not only unique for Disneyland but is also the second-largest city in Orange County! In the second-largest city in Orange County, there are bounds of places and activities to do and visit!

Start your day off with a great Easter brunch at the JW Marriott Anaheim resort, where you can enjoy delicious food like Red Velvet French Toast, Dungeness Crab Cake Benedict, and Cauliflower Steak. It’s also a great place to bring your kids as there is a kids menu and activities that your children can do.

Then, at the Downtown Anaheim Farmer’s Market, you can join in on an Easter Eggstravaganza at the Farmers Market, where you can take pictures with the Easter Bunny and join in on finding all of the Easter Eggs. In other words, an Easter Egg Hunt! The Farmers Market will also feature unique vendors during this occasion.

At this Farmers Market in Anaheim, you can also find beautiful craft items alongside fresh produce, like a vendor named Maria V, who makes custom jewelry. You can enjoy more delicious food in Downtown Anaheim like Hawaiian BBQ and sausages!

These are why Anaheim is our top-pick destination for a great Easter Day Trip with your friends! A family-friendly city that features many activities to do for adults as well, there’s lots to visit and check out in Anaheim!

2 – Irvine

Tanaka Farms is not only known for its fresh strawberries and veggies but also for the wagon rides they do on Easter. The farm also features an educational exhibit, and you can take pictures with the Easter Bunny.

Located a couple of blocks away from Tanaka Farms is a boba shop called Tan-Sha, where you can grab refreshing bubble tea to cool off from the Irvine heat.

The Irvine Park Railroad also features family-friendly activities, but an activity of interest to do there is paddle boating. Enjoy the beautiful river view while going on a paddleboat with your friend! The Irvine Park Railroad will also be doing an Easter Eggstravaganza through April 16th, where you can do train rides, an Easter Egg Hunt, and take a picture with the Easter Bunny.

A quieter place to celebrate Easter, but worthwhile to catch up with friends on this fine occasion.

3 – Newport Beach

The Newport Dunes Waterfront Resort is an Easter stay-cation you can enjoy! On the week of April 16th, plan to stay at the resort with your friends until April 16th, where on that day, you can enjoy an Easter Egg Hunt! Not only that, but you will enjoy the awesome perks and other activities that the resort has to offer, and Newport Beach is a place you want to add to your bucket list!

During your stay at the resort, check out Roger’s Gardens which features Easter-themed garden displays through May 2022. The garden is next to Newport Public Library and next to Fashion Island. This shopping mall features clothing stores like Anthropologie, Alice + Olivia, great dining like Canaletto Ristorante Veneto, and many more great restaurants! You can also enjoy coffee shops and sweet treats at this nice trendy shopping mall!

4 – San Clemente

Enjoy a Splash-Tacular event at the Aquatics Center in San Clemente, where you can be doing an Egg Hunt, but underwater!

After a splash, you can grab lunch at Poke Tiki to grab a nice healthy balanced meal of poke. Poke is an excellent after-workout meal because of the protein it contains in the rice and raw fish, not to mention your choice of vegetables, which provides a balanced meal for yourself and your health and great food to have with your friends.

After filling up your stomach, grab a relaxing cup of coffee at Cafe Hermosa, where they also serve breakfast until 4 pm and feature salads and sandwiches and great healthy smoothies after a workout at the splash event. This is not your typical coffee shop.
